Join Jen for this fun and empowering 2 hour practice that will teach you the fundamentals of arm balancing from the ground up. So often, students rely on force when attempting arm balances, rather than understanding the mechanics. We will break down poses such as crow, side crow, flying pigeon, grasshopper, eight-angle pose, shoulder-pressing pose and firefly.
The first portion of class will be used to warm up the body, activate the core, open the shoulders and focus on balance. We will then dive into playing with arm balances. We will learn, play and fall - the learning and beauty is in the process, and in trying new things. So, come fly!

This workshop is based on the building blocks of the physical world: air, fire, earth, water. Each element will be represented by a different guided practice. Tap into the air with guided pranayama exercises, build fire in the body with a vinyasa practice, settle into the earth with restorative shapes, and end the workshop vibrating with water in a sound bowl meditation. Everything you need is already within and around you.

A safe space for pregnant and post pregnancy individuals to connect with their changing bodies and learn techniques to make each stage of pregnancy more empowering and comfortable. Through gentle yoga postures and breath work techniques, experience a deeper connection to your body and to baby in pregnancy.
Movement will be a combination of stretching and strengthening different parts of the body to prepare for birth and beyond. This class is not heated, and will offer variations for students at all levels, no yoga experience needed. Please consult your medical provider if you have any specific needs or concerns.
